We slipped from Amble at 0600. This was to be our last port in England for a while. It was time to spread the word that there are children throughout the UK that need our help North of the border.
Favourable South Westerly winds helped to push us on today as we sailed past the Farne Isles and Bamburgh castle.
On route with flat seas Lou demonstrated both her culinary skills baking cakes
and fishing skills hauling in 8 Mackerel
We arrived in Eyemouth at 1630 welcomed by 3 resident seals that we shared our Mackerel catch with. Danny did an excellent job gutting and cooking up supper and the seals seemed very grateful for their raw share.
John Naples, a good friend and ex CPO that I served with from Lasswade near Edinburgh joined us at 1930. John was given a safety brief and familiarisation of Tikka but more importantly was introduced to the Chicken suit!
