Day 29 Crew change in Kinlochbervie 02/07/16

Today it was time to say our farewells to Ken Passant and Simon Childs. This leg from Wick to Kinlochbervie was the one I was most nervous about. Strong tides, exposed headlands and legendary names such as Cape Wrath that many stories warn you to avoid. Simon and Ken worked well though and helped me and Danny get Tikka through. Tikka performed great and gave me increased confidence in her performance and seaworthiness.  She’s a good girl.

Leg 5 sees Barry Hulatt,  Rowan Norman and Stuart Lindsay join us. With 5 cavers onboard  poor Tikka will struggle to accommodate us all. This may be a challenge of a different kind!

I'm sailing around the UK with family and friends onboard our yacht, Tikka, to raise awareness and money for " Action for Children "
