Day 31 Loch Laxford to Loch Inver 04/07/16

With an abundance of eggs kindly donated from Rebecca Ridgeway, it was scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast. We lifted anchor and I vowed to return here with Kaz someday, a truly stunning area that has left a mark on my heart.

Sailing in this part of  the world is magical as we hugged the coast around Handa island thousands of sea birds were going about their business, puffins, guillemots,  razor bills, skuas, terns, gannets, fulmars to name a few.

No sightings of dolphins or whales but the scenery and fine weather as we made our way to Lochinver was stunning. We entered the Loch and were once again greeted by a friendly harbour master who helped us moor up. Moments later Martin came around the corner on his trusty bike, Diana. So leaving Tikka and Diana to rest crew and cyclist headed for the village dressed in Action for Children tops and armed with flyers.
