Day 35 Gairloch to Plocton 08/07/16

The sea calmed overnight in Gairloch so we slipped  this morning for Plockton. A good sail past mountains again today with sightings of dolphins and seals along the way.

We picked up  a  visitor bouy and rowed ashore. A very attractive town with spectacular gardens with palm treas and exotic plants, kept warm by the Gulf Stream.

Again we were welcomed by locals interested in our challenge and our fundraising bucket was topped up further.
We rowed back to our floating home on a clear still sea and retired after our customary glass of “Dark and Stormy”.
