The forecast was good to go again once the Force 8 had blown through. The wind was coming from the direction we wanted to go again forcing us to tack through Kyle Rhea and into the Sound of Sleat. The fog came back again too.
As we entered Loch Nevis and into Inverie bay the fog lifted and the sea was like glass. We rowed ashore and enjoyed a pint in the remotest pub on mainland Britain, the Old Forge Inn, 14 miles from the nearest road, 107 miles from the nearest city and a 45 minute boat ride.
The view from the pub windows are breathtaking.
